Thought

“Thought” – a sculpture by @jerzy_fober, now available in a concrete edition created in collaboration with our studio. The original was carved in black oak in 1978. We wanted to preserve every detail of the hand carving in that beautiful material – the natural cracks and chisel marks are all still there. The sculpture is made of architectural concrete and cast solid, so it weighs a hefty 25 kg. We deliberately chose not to fill it with lightweight materials – we feel the weight completes the meaning of the piece and matches its compact, roughly hewn form.
